Consumer electronics blog, TheVerge, received a press shot of the Samsung Galaxy S III that can be seen above. The device will likely launch in the same marble white and pebble blue we have heard so much about. Interestingly enough, the T-Mobile variant bears very strong resemblance to the European/International Galaxy S III model. There is a large home button in the middle of the device surrounded by the capacitive menu button and the capacitive back button. Typically, the bottom of an American Android smartphone contains four capacitive buttons.
The shift away from this ideal to a center and physical home button simply goes to show the influence Samsung now possesses over American carriers. As of now, we are hoping the Samsung Galaxy S III launches later this month, but we have yet to hear of official launch dates or pricing from any American carrier.
