AT&T U-verse iPad App Provides Companion Features & DVR Control

If you're an AT&T U-verse customer, things just got better if you also have an iPad on your list of possessions. AT&T has just launched a new U-verse iPad app that plans to go beyond a typical DVR remote control. You'll not only be able to use this on all of AT&T's DVR's, but the app also provides additional information about all the content that's playing. Now, what makes this even better is that if you're on the road, you still can also pull up all the guide data, program your home DVR remotely, and yeah, you can also stream from a library of TV shows and movies depending on your U-Verse TV package. It also provides extended information about the show's you're watching, and even allows you to get social about it. 

We're not sure if this is the perfect companion for you all, but for a free price tag, it doesn't bother to have the additional functionality while you're watching TV or on the road. You can download the app fromiTunes.
